Our story

A small boutique.
A slower way of
dressing.

Shanti Boutique lives on Auroville Road, opposite the Tanto Pizza cross — a quiet room of hand-stitched dresses, folded fabrics, and jars of dye made from the plants that grow just outside the door.

Every piece we sell is made from pure mul-mul cotton — a whisper-light handloom weave — dyed with indigo, turmeric, madder root, and marigold, and printed with the pressed shapes of real leaves.

nothing synthetic ever touches the cloth.

"The most beautiful indigo dress I own. You can feel the care in every stitch. And the shopkeeper made us chai."

"Real, honest work. Watched the dyer show us the indigo vat. You walk out with a story, not just a dress."
